The share price of Piedmont Lithium Inc [ASX:PLL] is tumbling today. Despite releasing a comprehensive update on its Carolina Lithium Project in the US, Piedmont shares are trading 4.15% lower at time of writing.
Vulcan Energy Resources [ASX:VUL] share price is up this week as the lithium developer signed an offtake agreement with automaker Volkswagen.
Core Lithium Ltd [ASX:CXO] share price was up today by more than 7% on early trade after announcing they are buying six ‘highly prospective’ mineral leases located next to their 100%-owned Finniss Lithium Project.
Obviously, the more the price of lithium runs, the more producers will get into the market, and at one point, supply will catch up.
From Afterpay [ASX:APT] to Vulcan Energy Resources [ASX:VUL], BNPL and lithium stocks are under heavy selling pressure today as markets worry about Omicron and inflation.
Novonix [ASX:NVX] shares fell 25% before entering a trading halt, while BNPL stocks Openpay Group [ASX:OPY] and Splitit Payments [ASX:SPT] rose on trading updates.
