Trump Whiplash Sends Markets Spinning Again

In today’s Closing Bell, we analyse a wide range of viewer-requested stocks, from coal and fertilisers to lithium, rare earths, drones, and pharma.

Murray here. We’re sending the Closing Bell a bit early this week so you can get a jump on the Easter weekend.

Markets continue to gyrate wildly on Trump’s words. One day, the war is nearly over, and the next, he promises to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age.

Trump has just given his speech as I write this, causing oil to jump and stocks dump.

As I show you in the video below, just because we saw a big price jump this week doesn’t mean the worst is over.

I’m happy to trust the weekly charts at the moment, as high volatility can lead to mistakes if you react to short-term moves.

The weekly charts are still firmly pointing down. So, until weekly momentum and trends turn positive, I will remain wary.

We reserve the first Closing Bell of each month for analysing stocks suggested by our viewers.

Today, we cover a lot of ground.

We check out the strong rally in coal stocks. We also look at fertiliser, rare earth, graphite, lithium, drone, and pharmaceutical companies.
